Description
The project involved the development of a hydropower facility on the Konkoure River in Guinea, about 135 km from the capital Conakry, as part of a cascade of hydropower resources.
Objective
To reduce the supply-demand imbalance in Guinea, the OMVG and CLSG Member countries as well as augment the component of renewable energy in the regional energy mix.
Project Status
The implementation of the project is completed and was provisionally handed over on June 21, 2021.
